BPT has gone back to the drawing board to improve the performance of their existing isolation platform and come out with an entirely new design with much improved performance. Our earlier designs and most platform manufacturers designs rely on multiple layers of compliant material for isolation. We tried them all and found that while they do improve the low level detail and noise floor, it was always at the loss of speed and transient response. Our job was to find a way to make the improvements without this compromise.

Our new Iso-Base uses hardened 7/8" brass cones to instantly transfer energy to its center platform where it is dissipated on a specially dampened sheets of hardened 316 stainless steel for maximum energy transfer. You will hear an increase in overall low level detail, much improved pitch definition in the bass and greatly improved transient response (less smearing).
